The GLC is Mercedes smallest SUV, it has all the right styling features, it has a large imposing front end, decent ground clearance to mount high curves in the city, big wheels and it looks expensive.
The interior has all the right things too, the seats are nice and comfortable, the dash board has been lifted out of the C-class saloon which makes it to beat all of its competition in interior ambiance. It is packed with storage places which makes it very practical.
It comes in 3 trim levels, each of them comes with automatic climate control, rear parking cameras, cruise control, different driving modes and keyless go.
Getting into the back of the GLC is very easy too, thanks to the wide opening doors and the fact that the GLC is not high on the road. Passengers on the back seats have plenty of head and leg room.
All GLCs come with an electric tailgate as standard and you can upgrade to handless operation. The booth space is roughly the same as in the BMW X3 or Audi Q5 and there is a lockable under floor storage compartment as well.
For now you can have the GLC diesel powered, there is the GLC220d with 168 bhp 2.1 liter diesel engine and the GLC250d with a 201 bhp engine. Both have four wheeled drive and both have 9 speed automatic gearboxes. All cars come with 4matic off road drive but for serious off-roading Mercedes offers an off-road package.
